On 20 March 2023, Francelly Cano and Teresa Cervero presented a poster on the MEEP project at the EuroHPC Summit 2023 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The poster covered the project's goals and accomplishments.
"MEEP is a digital laboratory that provides infrastructure and a toolkit for HW/SW co-design. It includes a FPGA-based large-scale machine aimed at contributing to developing the next generation of accelerators for the HPC domain. The infrastructure can provide insights from early development stages to pre-silicon validation for full designs and support software development as a software development vehicle", says Teresa.
During the summit, Cano and Cervero highlighted how MEEP could contribute to the HPC ecosystem, from software to hardware. They also discussed the infrastructure's relationship with the MareNostrum supercomputer. Overall, the project generated significant interest, particularly regarding the use of the infrastructure.
